Samkhya philosophy is the proponent of dualism, according to this philosophy there are two extreme entities - Prakriti and Purusha. • 1. Purusha is conscious while Prakriti is unconscious. • 2. Purusha is void of Sattva, Rajas and Tamas while Prakriti is full of three guans. • 3. Purusha is the knower while Prakriti is a subject of knowledge. • 4. Purusha is Passive while Prakriti is active. • 5. Purusha are many whereas Prakriti is one. • 6. Purusha is free from cause-effect while Prakriti is the cause. • 7.
