Here I am going over a few variations of ouchi gari and some tips. • So where does the head go? Why? • Of course this is not a comprehensive reason of why the head goes where. When the tori (the person doing the throw) shifts their head position, you have to consider opponent's counter style and alignment with your own supporting leg. That determines where the head should go and it constantly shifting. Intent matters as well. Do you intend to finish with Ouchi in one Ripping motion? Do you intend to transition into a combination? Is your opponent trying to counter you? • So where does the head go? Like with many complex questions, the answer is, it depends!
