The best time for shad fishing in Oregon is from mid May to the end of June. I used a Carolina rig for my setup with a 1 oz weight. The shad run wasn't very good during this trip, but still had a blast fishing with Nic and Gere from Northwest Open Season. • Nic's channel: / @northwestopenseason
