https://OpenConsultingUK.com/CALC • ----- • Hello Everyone, • Open Consulting presents Calculator to compute the net take-home based on the contractor's day rate. • It does two tasks: • 1. In the first column, it computes various taxes and net take-home salary based on your DAY RATE. This is the estimated net take home if your contract is via Open Consulting. • 2. If you are engaging with the client through any other company (for example umbrella), use the second column to see ACTUAL taxes and margin that should be charged by that company based on EMPLOYEE'S NI Contribution quoted to you. • We use EMPLOYEE's NI to calculate back the GROSS SALARY that another company is using. Then we use this gross salary with actual slabs from Gov.UK to calculate the correct Employment and Income Tax. • • To help visualize and compare we have also put the numbers in the CHART. • 1) Employment Taxes that go to HMRC, like Employer's NI, Apprenticeship Levy, and Employee's NI are shown with Blue shades. • 2) Income Tax or PAYE also goes to HMRC, is shown with Orange shade. • 3) Net Salary and Pension that come into the contractor's pot are shown with Green shade. • 4) Anything from Annual Billing, that is not paid to HMRC or YOU, is kept by the company as MARGIN or admin fees, shown with Red shade • Bookmark this calculator: • https://OpenConsultingUK.com/calc • ----- • https://OpenConsultingUK.com • LinkedIn:   / openconsultinguk   • Facebook: https://fb.me/OpenConsultingUK • Github: https://github.com/OpenConsultingUK • Instagram:   / openconsultinguk   • MySpace: https://myspace.com/openconsultinguk • Twitter: @_OpenConsulting
