Cheerleading skills including stunts, pyramids and basket tosses should only be performed under the supervision of a qualified adults and after following the proper skill progressions. Once you know that your stunts are solid, you can then connect your pyramid. And you can do this by using two different types of grips. • Our first grip is the overlapping grip. If these are three different stunt groups, notice that a person that is the highest has their arms on top. And then our braces on the side have their arms underneath and helping support the person that's higher. • The other type of grip that we have is the interlocking. For this grip, now our top people are grabbing onto each other. This type of grip increases pyramid stability. Now, if you're dismounting from a pyramid or one of the stunts in your pyramid is unstable, wheat the tops need to do is let go and dismount safely. And that's how you do a basic cheer pyramid.
