Double barrel flintlock pistol

I have had this flintlock pistol for some time now. I figure I have put enough rounds through it to justify a healthy review. • I paid just under $500 for this side by side flinty from Middlesex Village Trading Company. It took 2 years to get it, but they are the only ones offering reproduction double barrel flintlocks so.... • When I got the flintlock in the mail the ram rod was broken from shipping, but a ram rod is nothing more than a dowel rod. I just made a new one. • It shoots well enough. I am NOT an expert at flintlocks or muskets and this is my only one so I have nothing to compare it to. For a pirate gun, it does look fantastic, and the brass takes to polish really well. • All and all I say it was well worth the money and time that it took to get the firearm from MVTCo. • • #flintlock #blackpowder
