How to Make Creamed Corn

Creamed corn is a delicious side dish you don't want to miss. Forget about creamed corn in a can, you can prepare amazing creamed corn in just a couple of moments by using frozen corn and making a delicious side dish your whole family will love. • 2 tablespoons butter • 1//4 cup chopped onions • 2 tablespoons flour • 2 cups heavy cream • 2 10 ounce packages frozen corn • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon black pepper • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon paprika • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese • Saute 1/4 cup of chopped onions in a saucepan with two tablespoons of butter over medium heat. When the onions become translucent add flour. Cook flour and butter together for about 1 minute, or until it becomes fragrant. Add 1/4 of the heavy cream and stir until the mixture thickens. Add another 1/2 of the heavy cream, and when the sauce thickens add remaining cream. • When the sauce thickens again add corn, and salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until well blended and the corn is heated through.
