🌱How to catch Ninja Betta in FFXIV

Ninja Betta is a good entry level Big fish due to it's simple and straight forward mooch chain, mooch loop and chance for Minion when desynthed. Typically, this fish is caught now for the Assassin Fry minion which, as mentioned, has a chance to drop from a Ninja Betta desynth. • 0:00 Intro + what to know ahead of time • 0:12 Patience II start • 0:35 Ala Mhigan Fighting Fish Mooch • 1:20 Mooch loop information • 2:53 Ninja Betta catch • 3:17 Assassin Fry Minion • ------------- • Zone: Mor Dhona • Fishing Hole: The Tangle • Bait: Midge Basket • Conditions: 18 - 9 during Gloom. • Desynthing this fish provides a chance to give the Assassin Fry minion. • This fish can not be placed into Aquariums. • Text Guide: • Begin by using Patience II and casting out into the Tangle. Using the Precision Hookset, catch an Ala Mhigan Fighting fish, a ! bite. This will allow you to mooch. Mooch the Fighting fish and on the next !! bite, with the Powerful Hookset, catch the Assassin Betta. This will also allow you to mooch; mooch again with the Assassin Betta. The next bite will either be a !!! bite, the Ninja Betta, or a !! bite, another Assassin Betta. Use Powerful Hookset to catch either and in the case of an Assassin Betta, immediately mooch it again. Continue to mooch the Assassin Betta loop until either run out of mooching opportunities OR catch the Ninja Betta. In either case, you can refresh Patience if necessary, and repeat these steps. • 🌱FFXIV Free Trial Fishers: • Instead of Patience II, you'll have to use Patience I.
