How Biblical Womanhood Changed My Life

Growing in the understanding of Biblical Womanhood has changed so much for me. Here are some passages from scripture to help us: • I feel confident: • Proverbs 31:25 says, She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. Imagine that – laughing without fear of the future because of the strength and dignity you wear like a garment. When we absorb and live out the teachings of Biblical womanhood, it's like wrapping ourselves in these very threads of strength and dignity. This promise from God fills us with confidence, not in our own capabilities, but in His unending support and provision. • I am truly empowered: • Philippians 4:12-13 tells us, I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. There’s something so empowering about this truth, right? It's like having a constant reminder that even on the days when everything seems too much, when the laundry is piling up, and the little ones are clinging to our legs, we have a reservoir of strength to tap into – through Christ. It’s not just about getting through our day but thriving in it because He is with us. • I finally feel worthy: • Ephesians 2:10 - For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Oh, how beautiful is it to know that we are considered masterpieces in the eyes of our Creator? This verse always reminds me that our worth isn’t based on worldly standards or even on our own often too harsh judgments of ourselves. Our worthiness comes from being His creation, intended for a purpose only we can fulfill. That thought alone is enough to fill the heart to the brim, isn’t it? • I'm finally fulfilled in life: • John 10:10 - The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. Jesus spoke these words as a promise that in Him, we find not just life, but a rich and satisfying one.
