Please Subscribe to my channel. • / @inthekitchenwithjohnny • Subscribe to One Kitchen: / onekitchen • One Kitchen Video: • Video • I WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND: • FACEBOOK: • / kitchenwithjonny • INSTAGRAM: • / jonny.photos • Ingredients: • For the chocolate cake: • 2 cups all purpose flour • 1 cup sugar • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter • 3 eggs • 2 tsp vanilla extract • 1-1/2 cup buttermilk or milk • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder • 1 tsp salt • 2 tsp baking powder • 1 tsp baking soda • For the Flan: • 1 12 oz can of evaporated milk • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk • 5 eggs • 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean • For the caramel: • 1/2 cup caramel sauce ( I used store bought, but you can make your own. • NOTE: Bake for 1 hour to 1 hr and 30 minutes, it really depends in the oven. Check it at the 1 hour mark, if you insert a knife it should come out clean. ALLOW TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE FLIPPING IT!!! • How to make caramel: • place 1 cup of sugar with 1/3 cup of water in a sauce pan and cook it on medium low until it turns into an amber color. ( Don't let it burn, it will taste bitter) • How to make buttermilk: • 1 cup of milk • 1 Tbsp lemon juice • to the milk add lemon juice, stir and let it sit for 10 minutes
