What is an Archetype

This video explores contemporary and historical interpretations of #Archetypes in myth and story. It includes ideas and content from #philosophy, #psychology, #literature and other subjects. Many of the ideas were inspired by Dr. Jordan Peterson's lectures on the subject. The ideas have been reduced to their simplest forms so that I could help my students understand the basics as fast as possible. This video was not intended to be a deep and complete exploration of the subject, but rather the fastest possible overview. As a result, some accuracy has been sacrificed in the name of simplicity and speed (in that order). This video was originally created for my English Language Arts 10 class in Canada. • All spelling errors are intentional. (probably)
