How do you make jerky? I like to start my hunting season off with one last batch of jerky from the last of my roasts from the previous year. On this episode, I give away my secret jerky recipe and show you how to make jerky at home with a dehydrator. • Dehydrator • US: https://amzn.to/2P32A66 • Canada: https://amzn.to/2NjFYOF • Liquid Smoke • US: Not Available • Canada: https://amzn.to/2oa6IpK • Venison Jerky Recipe: • 3.5lbs meat, sliced 1/4 thick • 1 Cup Brown Sugar • 3 Tsp Garlic Powder • 2 Tsp Salt • 1 Tsp Pepper • 1/2 Cup Soy • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce • 3 Tsp Liquid Smoke • Dash Tobasco • Mix wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. • Put meat in marinade mixing around to ensure meat is well coated. • Let marinate overnight in the refrigerator. • Place on the dehydrator in the morning and remove as slices are dried.
