We test the 1U version of the fanless Everything homelab node to find a $300 8-core system with 4x 10G ports, 5x 2.5GbE ports, and SATA JBOD expansion. This makes a great pfSense, OPNsense, Proxmox VE, Debian, Linux, TrueNAS, Ubuntu, or other box. One can even customize it with ECC memory and multiple drives.
