Julian Erosa may have been briefly upset when his last opponent missed weight, but a life-changing payday quickly put things into perspective. • Erosa (27-9, 5-5 UFC) is coming off a back-and-forth battle with Steven Peterson at UFC Fight Night 200 in February in which he eked out a split decision while earning Fight of the Night. Ahead of that clash, Peterson missed the featherweight limit by three pounds and was forced to forfeit 30% of his purse to Erosa. In addition to that penalty and his own win bonus, Erosa also pocketed both $50,000 checks stemming from their Fight of the Night honors.
