I review the refreshed 2021 Subaru Crosstrek in its new Sport trim. The biggest improvement for 2021 is the addition of the more powerful 2.5L engine on the Sport and Limited trims, and the extra 30 horsepower really helps the Crosstrek to feel stronger. The all wheel drive system also now gains a dual-mode X-Mode system for better performance off-road or in snowy conditions. The cheapest way to get the 2.5L engine is in this Sport trim that starts at $27,565 including destination. Overall, the Crosstrek is a strong competitor in this segment with its above average ground clearance, visibility and roomy back seat but it still is less powerful than many competitors and the CVT transmission still isn't very natural feeling. What do you think of the 2021 Crosstrek?
