For Bio-Rad Laboratories, he leads a team of scientists that focus on new application development. Prior to working on digital biology, Jack worked on automated platforms, including a sample preparation platform, a sample-to-answer platform for infectious disease detection, and an autonomous platform for the detection of bio-threat agents. The later two platforms were part of his post-doctoral work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
