A short video demonstrating how to test RAM with the MemTest86 utility software (requires a blank USB thumb drive). • https://www.digitalstorm.com/ • • Download Memtest86: http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm • • 1. Visit http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm and download the Image for creating bootable USB Drive file. • 2. Extract the downloaded file and launch the ImageUSB application from the unpacked folder. • 3. Select the drive you wish to install Memtest to and make sure Write to UFD is selected • 4. Click the Write to UFD button to create the bootable drive. WARNING: THIS WILL ERASE ALL DATA PREVIOUSLY ON THE USB DRIVE. • 5. Once the Memtest USB drive is completed, save all work and power down PC. • 6. Power on PC and begin tapping the 'delete' key to boot into BIOS. While in BIOS, locate the boot order section. Make sure the MemTest USB drive is set as first priority. Press 'F10' to save and exit BIOS. • 7. The test will begin automatically when booting from the USB drive. Let the tests run at least one full cycle before stopping. If any errors are found contact Digital Storm for assistance.
