Hello and welcome to the stunning aerial footage of the Island Samothrace part of Northern Aegean Islands 2 hours by ferry from town of Alexandroupoli - Greece. The island is home to an ancient sculpture of the Nike (Victory) of Samothrace, which was stolen. The sculpture is in the Louvre Museum in Paris now. Administratively the island belongs to the continental Municipality Evros. • In this clip you can enjoy scenic videos of the beautiful rocky and green mountains, waterfalls, rivers, traditional villages, churches, archeological sites of Sanctuary of the Great Gods, castles and black beaches.
