Gerber Strongarm Knife Mods That Will Blow Your Mind

This is my only large Gerber knife. After having watched a video by Cedric and Ada and then another by Gideon's tactical, I was convinced this is one that I need to seriously look into. The very first thing that needed to be done was to thin down that edge and make it convex. Now it is a good slicer. Then the handle required some modification due to the squared-off angular pointy stuff that someone on the design team thought would look really cool on a tactical/military-style knife. Sure, it might look cool, but after a couple of minutes of using the knife, it hurts. So they had to go. After a few minutes at the belt grinder, I had a very comfortable and user-friendly handle. • This brings us to the sheath. It needed a lot of work. I had to remove all of the doodads and plastic stuff on the back of the sheath to make it a nice smooth template in order to add a large TekLok. Tough to tell you in this description what I did, so it’s best just to watch and you’ll see. It is much more user-friendly now.
