Uh... well, this is awkward. • I've been working on this video for about two weeks now, and literally just as I'm about to finish rendering it, I notice that two days prior, alecomac uploaded a smaller-scale video using the same idea: • • Video • That's a pretty incredible coincidence. Rest assured, I've already messaged alecomac about it and everything is cool. It's just. Wow. Someone is gonna be getting a very special shoutout in version 2. • Anyway, back on topic, this is by far my most ambitious project yet. I've always been fascinated by the way characters enter and exit a story, sometimes with great fanfare, sometimes with next to nothing. Especially in a show like Friendship is Magic, where so many characters start off with small parts despite having a much bigger role to play later. Sugar Belle, for example - super important character, but what's her introduction? Just sorta wandering into the scene and trying to get a word in. It's great. • I also figured that this was a good opportunity to do some light analysis on the idea of canon and non-canon voices.
