In this video you will learn to make a relatively simple high voltage inverter circuit. Based on how many turns you add to the HV secondary winding, you can attain voltages well over 1,000V at very low current. This type of circuit is very similar to what is commonly used to power scanner tubes. The most critical part of this circuit is the transformer. You must follow my directions EXACTLY, or you may have trouble getting the circuit to operate properly. Everything you need to know is in this video. Small yellow PC mount power transformers that you can use to wind your own transformer, can be found in many scrap electronics.
