Build a Wood Bending Steam Box

This is how I built my steam box for bending wood. I just used a 3/4 sheet of bad plywood, a couple 36 length pieces of 1/4 steel rod, some 4 ducting and a boil pot! This thing is big enough to handle most steam bending applications, and it works really well. I did have to wrap some duct tape around it to seal the ends. For the boil pot, I used a beer brewing kettle I had, but you could use any type of kettle and a hot plate for this to work!
