A last minute decision to backpack from the remote Inverie to Glenfinnan in the west highlands of Scotland. The Forge is a great cozy and welcoming pub, but the food was disappointing - a burnt breadbun and very small portions of chips for which we waited an inordinately long time! • The Campsite relies on honesty for payment, we were charged £12.00 each for one night's camping in the tent, for this you can see the excellent views and composting toilet but no showers or other washing facilities.
