Great Migration Calving Season 6 Day Safari in Tanzania

After our trek to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, we spent an amazing week on safari exploring some of Tanzania's most popular parks! To start things off, we had a full day in Tarangire National Park. This park is home to one of Africa’s largest elephant populations that roam through a diverse landscape of beautiful rolling hills and giant baobab trees. • Next up was one of Africa’s most classic safari destinations, the famous Serengeti National Park. Over 2 days, we saw so much incredible wildlife. • The Serengeti is home to the world’s largest movement of animals, called the Great Migration. We visited in February which is actually calving season for the wildebeest migration in the southern part of the Serengeti known as Ndutu. • We spent another 2 days in Ndutu and were blown away by the quantity of wildebeest and zebras. There were hundreds of thousands of animals in every direction, as far as the eye could see. It truly was a spectacle! • Finally, we ended our safari with the Ngorongoro Crater.
