How to Make and Use Memojis on iOS

Want to make your own custom Memoji you can use to make fun videos to send your friends or Memoji stickers for iMessage, WhatsApp and Instagram? Watch this quick and easy tutorial to learn how to make your own Memoji! • #Memoji #MemojiTutorial • To start, open your iOS Messages app and open a conversation thread. Then tap the App Store icon to open the iMessage menu. Tap the monkey icon. Scroll to the left and tap the plus sign to start making a Memoji. Now you can customize the look of your Memoji. The first category is Skin. In this section you can select a skin tone, add freckles, add a blush colour and choose the placement of it, and add a beauty spot if you like. To move on, tap the next section, Hairstyle. Tap a hair colour and use the slider to adjust if you like. You can also select a highlight colour. Then scroll down to see all the hairstyle options you can choose from. Tap one to add it to your Memoji. The next section is Brows. Choose an eyebrow colour and shape. If you scroll down, you can also add forehead markings and brow piercings. The next section is Eyes. Select an eye colour and shape. Then you can add eyelashes, eyeliner, and eyeshadow. Next up is the Head section. You can select an age, and a face shape. Then there’s the Nose section, where you can change the shape of your Memoji’s nose and add piercings if you like. Next is Mouth. Choose a lip colour and shape, change teeth, and add lip and tongue piercings. Then there’s the Ears section. Change ear size, add earrings, and add audio accessories if you want. Next is the Facial Hair section, where you can add sideburns, a mustache and/or a beard. If you wear glasses, you can add those in the Eyewear section. The last section is Headwear. Here you’ll find a selection of hats as well as cultural or religious headwear for your Memoji. • When you’re happy with how your Memoji looks, tap Done in the top right corner to save it. Your Memoji will then be added to your Animoji menu that you can access in any iMessage conversation. You can make multiple Memojis with different looks if you want. • You can use your Memojis to make fun videos to send to your friends. Tap the record button to try it out for yourself! Tap stop when you’re done recording. You’ll see a preview of your video that you can then send in your conversation. • Another cool use for your Memoji are Memoji stickers. Tap the Memoji icon in the iMessage menu to check them out. Select the Memoji or Animoji you want to see stickers of.
