This northern Arizona resident has been making straight razors for years and developed an interest in it through meeting many world renowned modern knife makers. Jerry is an admitted “steel junkie” and prefers working with 52100 carbon steel. His razors are by design simple and elegant and his process is simplified in order to provide consistency. Ordering a razor can be done through the Contact Us link on the website. • Razor #461 is a 6/8 521000 razor featuring black and white G-10 scales with red liner. It has been hardened to Rockwell 61-62 and the razor weighs 86 grams. • I have been very impressed with the comfortable shave this razor keeps providing me. I am typically not a fan of blades that are close to wedge grind, but the edge and the steel on this razor have made for a very efficient and smooth shave.
