BODENCO by Daridel Country version • We are NOT switching genres, this is just a homage to a branch of folk music; it’s also a testament to our friendship, to the desire of enjoying our time together and experimenting new things. It’s meant to be a carefree video where we don’t take ourselves too seriously; a song and video where we show who we are as people, that had us laughing all throughout making it and that we hope can show a small facet of what we are. We decided to take one of our most popular songs, “Bodenco”, and turn it country because, before being a band, we are a group of people, of friends, that make a living out of playing music but still want to find new ways to have fun with it. Behind our songs are common folks and showing that is important to us. • Our journey to the United States last January left an indelible mark on us! We found a beautiful place that welcomed our music with an enthusiasm we would have never expected. And, in the same way our branch of European pagan folk was welcomed once we landed in the US, we also wanted to pay homage to a land rich in folk music. • Hopefully we lived up to it, on our part we never had so much fun while filming! • We wish to be able to visit again soon to bring you the roar of bagpipes and drums again… in the meanwhile, enjoy the country cover of our song Bodenco. • P.S.
