On Wednesday the 29th of May 2024, poor weather and possibly some sort of incident at Elizabeth Quay (? I'm just speculating since the area was closed off), cancelled Transperth ferry services and resulted in the long-forgotten route 900 ferry-replacement service coming into operation between Elizabeth Quay Bus Station and Mends Street Jetty.
