How To Feed Repashy Gel Food on a Rock

I cooked up some Repashy Soilent Green gel food, and while it was still hot, poured it over the rough surface of this rock. Then I placed the rock into the fish tank and watched them figure it out! They could all smell the food immediately, but it took them a while to figure out how to eat it off of the rock. This was a lot of fun for both me and the fish! The ancestor of the goldfish is a river-dwelling carp that scavenges for algae on the river bottom, so this is a really fun way to simulate their natural foraging behavior in an aquarium. It should be noted that I didn't let them eat all the Repashy, because it was way too much for one feeding. After letting them graze for a little while, I wrapped up the rock in cellophane and put it in the fridge for later. • Click this link to watch my fish devouring the Repashy Rock!    • Goldfish Eating Repashy Gel Food from...   • Buy Repashy here: http://tastyworms.com/fish/food-and-t... • Click to subscribe! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c... • Like Solid Gold on Facebook!   / solidgoldfish   • Follow Solid Gold on Twitter!   / solid_gold_fish   • Check out Solid Gold's blog! http://www.solidgoldfish.com • Music Track Info: • Bushwick Tarantella Loop by Kevin MacLeod (www.incompetech.com)
