Presented in 4K - Canadian Pacific “Empress” 2816 makes its debut on the “Final Spike” tour, as the Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern merger reaches its one year anniversary. The 4-6-4 Hudson type steam locomotive was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930, and is owned and operated by the Canadian Pacific based out of Calgary. • EnRoute from Calgary, Canada to Mexico City, Mexico, I caught a portion of the tour on two separate days earlier this week, between Minneapolis, Minnesota and Chicago, Illinois.
