In our latest whisky review we try out Suntory's famous, award winning single malt, The Hakushu. • A whisky created by the second master blender, Keizo Saji, this delicious single malt has won multiple awards including WWA in 2016 and the Best World Whisky in the 2015 International Whisky Competition. • The Hakushu is the flagship whisky made at Suntory's Hakushu distillery based at the foot of Mount Kaikoma in Yamanashi Prefecture. The water in this area is said to be extremely pure and contributes to Hakushu's clean and unique taste. • In this video we check it out neat and on the rocks. Be aware, this whisky is currently difficult to find even in Japan due to high demand, and single bottles can run into the hundreds of dollars.
