As long as the electronics haven't been damaged, this should work very well. • I got these fantastic Sennheiser HD 280 pro headphones second-hand in 2015, and estimate that I've used them for about 10,000 hours since. They still sound great, considering I've stepped on them, dropped them hundreds of times, and man handle the cable on a daily basis. • If after all of that they require a simple repair to work like new, I highly recommend them - if you're interested, I found these exact headphones on eBay: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53... • I repaired and filmed this video last year (Nov/Dec 2019) - and I've used these headphones for hundreds of hours since and it has held up!
