David Leonard Wood (67) is scheduled to be executed in Texas on March 13, 2025. Wood was sentenced to death for the abduction and murders of six young women and girls that took place between February and August of 1987 in a desert area of El Paso, Texas, and then burying the bodies there. Wood had been released from prison for a r**p charge in January of 1987, a month before the victim’s disappearances began. A total of nine women went missing during that time, but three of the bodies have never been found.
