In January of 2019, I was diagnosed with cancer of the appendix. Over the course of the next few months I underwent multiple surgeries, ultimately surrending a not-inconsiderable portion of my digestive system to cut it from my body. • • Fortunately, I am now cancer-free. Unfortunately, there are many other people out there who are afflicted with this terrible disease, and even more that will get diagnosed with it each year. • • To help in the battle against cancer, the proceeds of this raffle will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
