POPOVERS are the American version of the English YORKSHIRE PUDDING!! Deronda demonstrates (step-by-step) how to make these deliciously basic POPOVERS!! A perfect PUFFED BREAD ROLLS for dipping in stews, soups, or eating at breakfast with eggs, butter, jellies, or jams!! Recipe below by clicking on SHOW MORE... • Basic POPOVERS • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. • Use a popover tin, or 12-cup muffin pan. • 1 cup whole milk, room temperature • 3 whole eggs, room temperature • 1 cup all-purpose flour • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil • 1. Add 1 teaspoon of oil into the bottom of each popover tin, or 1/2 teaspoon of oil into the bottom of each muffin pan. Place popover pan on cookie sheet. Heat in oven while preparing POPOVER batter (about 10 minutes). • 2. In a large mixing bowl...whisk together the eggs and milk for 1 (one) minute. Add flour and salt. Whisk an additional 2 (two) minutes until smooth and no lumps are present in batter. Batter should run smoothly off the back of a stainless steel spoon. • 3. Transfer batter into a easy to pour container with spout (like a 2-cup measuring cup). • 4. Carefully remove heated popover pan from oven. Immediately pour batter 1/2 (half) way up in each muffins tin. • 5.
