Wiesbaden, Germany is the capital of the federal state of Hesse. This city is known for its elegant villas. There are some historic spa houses and a total of 26 hot springs. The city is one of the oldest spa towns in Europe with roots stretching back to Roman times. • On this tour we start on the city center's market square. There we see the city hall and city palace besides the Evangelical Market church. • Later we pass the Kurhaus with its grand casino where Dostoevsky famously gambled. This area is a centerpiece of the city, showing the wealth of the Belle Epoque era.
