In part 2 of this series I show a beginner friendly way to find your stitch gague for the famous Musselburgh Hat by Ysolda Teague . This video is for the beginner who always wanted to make one but could not manage the tricky gauge check and/or hat trouble reading the charts. I made this for my nephew who has started knitting and wanted to try this pattern. We are too far apart to sit down together so I'm hoping this video will do the job and if it can help others all the better. • Amazon link: https://amzn.to/3EC472j • If you enjoyed this episode you can support me on my kofi account or donate to my favourite dog rescue listed below. • Kofi: https://ko-fi.com/mywonderfulknitting... • Rescue Dogs Lebanon-Canada: https://www.rescuedogslebanoncanada.o... • Link for cast-on video •    • HOW TO CAST-ON THE MUSSELBURGH HAT TH...   • My 3 part series for knitting a Musselburgh hat can be found through these links. • • Part 1: How to start an Musselburgh the easy way •    • HOW TO CAST-ON THE MUSSELBURGH HAT TH...   • Part 2: How to measure gauge and read the increase chart •    • HOW TO MEASURE YOUR MUSSELBURGH HAT G...   • Part 3: Musselburgh fiinishing tips •    • Musselburgh Tutorial: Tips and Tricks...   • • You can find me here: • Instagram: @my_wonderful_knitting_life and you can see more of what I do in my spare time @cozycottagehideaway. • Ravelry @ mywonderknitlife • You can support my work here- https://ko-fi.com/mywonderfulknitting... • Links: • Pattern - https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr... • My favourite Cast-on -    • π‡πŽπ– π“πŽ π‚𝐀𝐒𝐓 πŽπ πŠππˆπ“π“πˆππ†  // π’𝐓𝐄𝐏-𝐁𝐘-𝐒...   • Materials: • 24, 32 or 40 inch circular knitting needles • 1 skein of fingering weight yarn 100 grams • 3 stitch markers (I prefer the lightbulb ones)
