OOPS!!! End of week #2 of my robotic hysterectomy recovery story, I made a mistake! It was an easy mistake to make and one I don't want you to make, too! • There are a couple more short videos coming soon about my hysterectomy recovery journey – which I’ll add to my new Robotic Hysterectomy playlist. It is my hope it will help someone else on what to do to help prepare for the surgery, including if they take a GLP 1 medication like Mounjaro, Zepbound, Wegovy, or Ozempic, and to show what recovery can be like after a robotic hysterectomy. • The need for this hysterectomy became evident after experiencing post-menopausal bleeding: bleeding that recurs after having at least one year of no periods. Not all women who experience these symptoms need a hysterectomy, but ALL need to see their doctors to be checked out. One thing you need to rule out is cancer or precancerous cells that could lead to future cancer.
