READ THE PAPER AT: http://bit.ly/2j7yt1c • The dopaminergic basis of Parkinson’s resting tremor is disputed. Using functional MRI network analyses, Dirkx et al. report that that dopamine reduces tremor by selectively inhibiting the cerebellar thalamus. This effect correlated with the clinical dopamine-response. They propose that dopaminergic projections to the cerebellar thalamus control tremulous activity in this region.
