Sophie Blackall discussed Hello Lighthouse at the 2019 Library of Congress National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. • Sophie Blackall is the winner of the 2019 Caldecott Medal for Hello Lighthouse. She is the illustrator of more than 30 books, including the New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Books Big Red Lollipop and The Baby Tree. She won an earlier Caldecott for her book Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World's Most Famous Bear.
