Manuel (John Lloyd Cruz) and Marian (Bea Alonzo) develop their friendship for 16 years that they almost know each other's secrets. They are too close Manuel gets too afraid to tell Marian what he truly feels for her. On the other hand, Marian plainly deems Manuel as her closest friend. Marian has made herself believe that her one true love is Lance (Sam Milby), her classmate who used to defend her against their gradeschool bullies. Lance and his family migrate in the U.S and Marian fails to keep in touch with her puppy love. The only thing that Marian knows is that Lance has become the lead singer of the new American rock band, Orion. Marian gets so excited when Orion decides to have a concert tour in the Philippines. So she drags Manuel to help her chase the Orion Band hoping that Lance would recognize her. Manuel thinks the otherwise yet he still supports Marian. Finally Lance and Maria meet again, and from childhood friends they become lovers. Manuel gets to witness every progress of Marian and Lance’s romance, while he conceals his deep jealousy.
