Tatte Bakery amp Cafe Washington DC

In today's video, while on our walk around Washington DC, we made a pit stop at Tatte Bakery and Cafe, a small cafe chain offering coffee, food, and desserts, to have a quick breakfast. They have locations in Massachusetts and the Metro DC area. This location is on Massachusetts Ave, between Union Station and the convention center. It was still early in the morning and as we entered Tatte, the vibe felt quiet and peaceful. The decor and ambiance was modern and clean. Our beverage order consisted of an iced latte and a bottle of water. The water was refreshing, and the iced latte was on par to any typical coffee shop iced latte. My wife's food order was a croissant breakfast sandwich that had cheese, avocado, egg, bacon, tomato, and arugula, which she described as crunchy, buttery and savory. My food order was a chicken salad sandwich, which is a house made herbed chicken salad, marinated cucumbers, and alfalfa sprouts served with green herbed dressing on a house made multigrain bread. The chicken salad had good flavor and was pesto forward, but it could have used more sauce because the bread was thick and dry.
