Community Coffee and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football are proud to announce Highland Park (TX) High School Geometry Teacher Jessica Caviness as this week’s 2024 Community Leader Award winner! • Watch our piece spotlighting Caviness, who was nominated by Highland Park Athletic Director Jeremy Gilbert. • “[Caviness] is one of the most engaging teachers I’ve had the privilege of working with in my 26 years of education,” Gilbert says. “Her classroom is a student-centered showplace for best practices. She is the living example of what is possible for all kids when high expectations are met with high levels of support.” • Caviness is one of 10 influential community leaders across Texas who will be recognized throughout the 2024 high school football season.
