How do mathematicians model the spread of infectious diseases? My first video on this topic introduced the Susceptible-Infectious-Recovered or SIR model: • The MATH of Pandemics | Intro to the ... • In this second video we look at a bunch of variants of the SIR model. We investigate other stages such as in SEIR model where there is an Exposed stage. We investigate vital dynamics, using Vaccines, and the so called SIS model where there is no recovered stage.
