About Edo Jo: • Acclaimed Australian singer-songwriters, mantra musicians, yogis and change makers. From 2008 - 2015 they toured extensively throughout Australia, South-East Asia, India and America. Their music is an enchanting mix of Eastern mantra and Western pop that is both soothing and uplifting. They are the founders of A Sound Life chairty (www.asoundlife.org). In September 2015, Jo passed away shortly after a cancer diagnosis. Her beautiful voice, spirit and songs resonate through the world eternally and through her legacy to help bring the gift of music, yoga and meditation to people facing hardships. • Edo Kahn was previously signed with Virgin/EMI with his rock bands Gelbison and Kahn Brothers, and is an APRA award-winning songwriter. Jo Mall Kahn is a singer-songwriter, classically trained musician and a qualified yoga teacher. Their music was recently aired on ABC Radio National (November 2013) with a feature piece on their spiritual journey and the power of chanting. • Edo Jo played at many conscious events and festivals, including The Conscious Club opening the night for Deepak Chopra, 1 Giant Mind Mass Meditation (Bali), and co-headlined Australia’s major yoga festivals, including Byron Spirit Festival (2012, 2013), Sydney Spirit Festival (2013), Bhakti Bliss (2013) and Bodhi Festival (2012) which featured The Gyuto Monks, Dave Stringer, Jai Uttal and Deva Premal. They have played at Bali Spirit Festival (2014) and held monthly residencies at Ubud Yoga Barn Bali (2012-2014). They have chanted live together with Dave Stringer, Karnamrita Dasi, Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda. • Edo and Jo ran yoga retreats and workshops focused on the voice, bhakti yoga and the power of sound.
