This phenomenon is a worldwide pandemic. It can be perceived through hesitation in body and speech. Walking down any street, you can see it. The more you move towards cities, the more you see it. The reason is simply that there is a lot more people. Usually, the larger the population, the less personal people become as we tend to give less importance to commonalities. We screen out repetition of patterns. In excess, things tend to decrease in value. • Another factor is the variety of entertainment. Distractions, particularly in cities, are at reach at all times. The more distractions there is, the less grounded we become. • (Screen text) How do you behave in public? How do you behave by yourself? We tend to be stiff in public and in every facets of the social game. We lose our authenticity in the pursuit of approval. In general, we don’t behave the same with others as we do when we’re by ourselves because we’re attached to our identity. We feel as if this identity needs to be sustained to keep our status. We fear that if we let that identity go, the people we love will cease to love us back. The fundamental issue is this: “You think you are unworthy of love”. (Add text) • We are in the grip of fear by simply being. We feel as if something is wrong with the basic fabric of who we are. We constantly hesitate and stumble like we’re some badly programmed robots. • In perpetual fearful lives, the fear factor is the needle that patterns thoughts. It governs feelings and emotions. It leads the way. As long we are in the grip of fear, we will never be free. • Now, you might recognize that you do these things and act this way, but don’t beat yourself up about it. The purpose of talking about it is simply to point a finger at the issue the same way you would point for directions. Doing so brings awareness in your consciousness. • Simple awareness without any judgements; just noticing without clinging. If you add judgements, you are not looking at your life objectively. • Another points, so that you can acknowledge. That’s all anyone can do for you. You’re the only one who ultimately chooses to act upon it. However many advices people receive, if a person is not ready to hear them, it will fail. It could even create further issues. • Awareness is the most basic skill we need. In fact, it is the only skill you need. When you become receptive to awareness itself, your perception increases and improves. That’s the essence of meditation. In heighten perception; one can see the essence of any issue instantly. When we are able to achieve this, we are free from suffering. That is the true gift of silence. That silence is the same as having a quiet mind. A mind free from chatter, a mind that acts without hesitation. A mind free of doubts. In this state, the possibilities are limitless. It is the great emptiness, the great void. The mind becomes like a mirror: it reflects everything but remains stainless. • Remember: You are the only one who decides the path you take. You are the only one who can open the door and walk in.
