This Case IH 1056xl is made in early 90's. In Germany, Neuss factory. Working with it after Belarus is a pleasure. 6 cylinder sound and power is enough to do job with ease. I'll write down for you, friends pros and cons from our experience. • Pros: • 1.) Made in early 90's, mostly mechanical not full with high technology electronic systems; • 2.) Parts are available and don't cost much more then Belarus parts; • 3.) NA engine 5.9L 6 cylinder which has enough power and torque, if you have a less then 100 ha; • 4.) Don't take much more fuel then Belarus; • 5.) Great cabin and seat position; • 6.) Very reliable and good looking, sounding. • Cons: • 1.) It's hard to get a parts with best deals in here, Latvia. We send them from UK; • 2.) Very good example cost around 20 000 Eur. And that's the early 90's tractor. We bought it in very bad condition. But it came with front loader and we desperately need it for less then 10 000 Eur; • 3.) Front differential not working always; • 4.) Rain water can get in to the cabin from a ventilation holes on top sides of it; • In conclusion if you have a enough free time and you're not a big farmer then buy a cheaper one and repair. This can be right choice for you.
