What happened on October 6th in Middle-earth? • Thorin begins to consider leaving Lake-town. Strider and the hobbits reach Weathertop. They find signs that Gandalf had been there. At night they are attacked by 5 Ringwraiths. Frodo puts on the Ring and is stabbed by the Witch-king with a Morgul-knife.
