#BluRayDisc #BluRay #15thAnniversary • It's been 15 years after Blu-ray has been introduced to the public and wowed us with its stunning high definition remasters, transfers, and pop-up menus for easy destination without leaving the main menu or when during a movie. • This has definately won me over since 2019, and I've been collecting Blu-ray copies ever since. Even discovering its disc design was used for modern game releases was bazaar to me. Discussion aside, I think this is the best successor to DVD for being able to have a 1080p HD format as opposed to DVD's 480p standard definition format, its use of pop-up menus you can open during the movie or on the main menu without having to leave it, how modern releases hold more bonus features or all bonus features, and the fact that it's able to remain intact without any scratches no matter how many times you rewind and fast-forward, and how it can use lossless audio tracks that can go up to 7.1. Anyways, I digress. • Blu-ray is a superior home video format for those interested in higher picture quality and quick menu navigation.
