From Neuschwanstein Castle, Anne Willmes and Daniel Aßmann set out for the Königssee. Along the German Alpine Road, Bavaria is more typical than in almost any other region in the Free State. • Anne Willmes puts on her hiking boots and accompanies Ludwig Prince of Bavaria for a while on the 100 km lion march. Daniel Aßmann puts the bike on the roof of his car and drives first to Mittenwald, then to Lake Walchensee and Lake Tegernsee. It goes up to the Kampenwand and into the Karwendel Mountains, over the Rossfeld Panorama Road and into the Murnauer Moos. Skier legend Markus Wasmeier explains why he built an open-air museum in his hometown on Schliersee.
